BRIXHAM HERITAGE RACE 2 NIGHTS FOR £340 BOOK NOW
The Grayhound Lugger has been created with our
energy, passion and a lot of hard work and we believe she is a superb new vessel that will sail and work in a simple, efficient and exciting way. We, Marcus and Freya invite you to sail on her and explore with us as we take her around the Atlantic in 2013/14.
Our voyage itinerary and prices are now published. You can choose to come on board for a day sail, for a week coastal passage, a regatta racing week, an offshore or an ocean passage which could last up to three weeks. All these voyages offer different experiences for different people. Sailing across an ocean can be one of life’s true escapes and a real change of pace is needed. Sailing and taking part in the traditional festivals of the sea, unites a whole family of wooden boats and like minded people. You can book your berth on the Grayhound through our booking agency Classic Sailing. You can book a voyage as a group or as individuals and couples. We totally welcome families on board and anyone who is up for an adventure…..
Remember that we are an adventure sailing company and we live onboard with our little boy Malachi. This is our business but it is also our life. When you sail with us you sail as we sail and you live as we live. We sail and live with spirit. We try to make our floating world adapt to our surroundings and believe approaching places under sail is not only rewarding for us but appreciated by the locals.

Here is a flavour of our first sailing year destinations and their high lights.May 2013 sees us start our West Country and Brittany summer season click here to see the program. We will be visiting Binic’s musical La Morue en fete and then hope to compete at Brixham and Fowey classics. Racing at Looe Luggers Festival in June will be a high light of the year, first British three masted Lugger to compete.
During the summer months from May to August we will visit Brittany and the Isles of Scilly.
Please contact us on +44 (0)7922648472 if you are interested in potential bookings
for film hire, corporate days, wedding receptions and children’s pirate parties.
When most UK vessels finish sailing for the season we will be heading south for the sun, click here to see Spain, Portugal and Atlantic islands program. We will visit the Northern Rias in northern Spain and the Portuguese coast heading south for Lisbon.
In October we will head across to Porto Santo and Madeira. We love these islands, it is the first taste of the exotic, with amazing produce and staggering scenery.
Towards the end of October we head for Lanzarote and the Canary Islands for a brief stay, we will be running a couple of voyages around the Canaries for those who want some winter sunny sailing.
November ends with a passage even further south to the wonderful Cape Verdes. For a taste of Africa and the tropics. The Cape Verde islands stand alone as a destination, still quite remote and quiet, we plan to do ten day island hopping voyage here

THE ATLANTIC CROSSING will depart at the end of December. It will be advertised as a 3 week passage starting in the Cape Verdes and ending in Barbados. The passage is 2000 nautical miles and should take us 2 weeks to sail, so we will leave promptly and hopefully have time to soak up some Caribbean Sun and Rum on arrival before our crew depart. click here to view all our Ocean Passage schedules.
We can’t wait to show off the Grayhound to the folk over there. We will be offering passages through the Lesser Antilles ending in Antigua for the Classic Regatta week, one of the high lights of the year ! View our Caribbean schedule here
May 2014 will see us heading north to higher latitudes, to the Azores archipelago. A chance to experience a longer ocean passage perfect for getting those sea miles and Sextant sights, or just escaping from the world.
Marcus and I fell in love in the Azores a place which is dear to our hearts. We will be spending some weeks voyaging around the islands……
again the produce is wonderful , thermal waterfalls , volcanoes and whales .
A final passage north will see us sailing back into a Cornish summer , in July 2014.
We look forward to sailing with you in 2013/14.
